Organizers of the European Club Cup for Rapid and Blitz, the Tinerii Maestri Chess Club and the Romanian Chess Federation, are deciding that, because of the lack of interest showed by European chess clubs in this new continental competition, to cancel the 2012 edition, which was scheduled in 8-12 of August in Bucharest, Romania.
